Sex scandal and New England boarding school are two things that should not be said in the same sentence.
But this time, the acts themselves are not the worse part.
It's the fact that these acts have been caught on tape for everyone to see.
When the headmaster finally gets a hold of the tape, he can't bare to watch it.
He just think of who could possibly let this happen.
How many people have seen it.
Everyone is speaking out.
Even people who do not work at or who do not have children attending Avery Academy.
But adults are not thinking about the teens involved in this as much as they should.
They are four involved, one of them dead, the other three have a future in tatters.
These teens didn't think about the effects this could have on everyone, they were in the moment.
Two marriages are ruined, a school's reputation is in the dumps.
But these three teens now know what can happen when one night goes wrong, when spur of the moment decisions effect anyone and everyone.

Testimony by Anits Shreve is very eye opening. Being a teen myself, I sometimes forget that all actions have reactions, but this book definitely made me think. I thought about past things I've done, future things I planned on doing and this book actually made me stop some decisions before they got too out of control. Anita Shreve has actually written a book that can be used to teach teens what can happen, it can open their minds. Testimony was very hard to stop reading. From the very beginning things were happening, changing many peoples lives at once. There was so much happening and you just knew there was gonna be so much more. All you wanted to do was read and read and read to know what was gonna happen. After reading this, I now have a place for Anita Shreve on my list of favorite authors.
